Sony's latest controller is designed to let you play PlayStation games on your iPhone

On Thursday, the company officially unveiled the $99.99 Backbone One — PlayStation Edition, a dockable game controller that can fit an iPhone.

The product is designed to help PS5 and PS4 owners play games on their consoles remotely by sharing the game over the Internet.

This can be done by activating the "Remote Play" feature on the PlayStation console, which can also stream game footage to a PC, Android phone or tablet.

The controller itself is based on technology from existing models from Backbone, a startup that has been developing portable gaming controllers for several years.

The company already sells a standard black Backbone One controller. For both iPhones and Android phones.

And now they've unveiled the official PlayStation Edition controller, which comes in white and black.
